The Area
Verbano Cusio Ossola, or more conveniently the province of Verbania, is a territory characterized by strong contrasts and uniqueness.
It is the northernmost part of Upper Piedmont, the part that wedges into Switzerland and borders directly on the two cantons of Ticino and Valais.
This position and the morphology of the territory make it as fascinating as it is varied: here one goes from 200 to 4000 meters above sea level by traveling just a few kilometers.
